My name is Gabrielle and I am a librarian/archivist exploring memory preservation in the digital landscape. I am new to web design, and although I did not expect to arrive here, I'm enjoying the view.
Studying XML, MODS bibliographic schema, Dublin Core, and linked data have led to my interest in creating my own website, where I can explore theory in practice. I hope to eventually transform this site into a database, a searchable information retrieval system for my photograph collection. This site is a personal experiment, a space for me to play, a chance for me to learn.
